On behalf of the LOGISTAR consortium, we kindly invite you to participate in a series of free Webinars on the following dates:
Wednesday 21 April, 10:30UK / 11:30CET – aimed at operators based in the UK, but anyone welcome
Thursday 22 April, 10:30UK / 11:30CET – aimed at operators based in the EU, but anyone welcome

The LOGISTAR
project, funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation
programme, aims to develop a digital support tool for planning and optimisation
of transport operations in the logistics supply chain. Operating in real time, the tool will seek to
enhance collaboration between shippers and logistics providers through
‘matching’ cargo loads with empty transport capacity. At this stage, the
project aims to demonstrate ‘proof of concept’, though if successful a
commercial product could be developed.
The purpose
of the Webinars is to ‘market test’ the envisaged end product with a range of
logistics operators and shippers. We
shall present the LOGISTAR
digital ‘tool’, describing its intended
application and functionality. Views
will be sought on the overall commercial/operational requirement for the
LOGISTAR tool, its intended applications by sector and whether it adds any
commercial benefits over existing collaboration processes. It will provide an exciting opportunity to
shape the development of a new digital tool.
The Webinars
will last for up to 90 minutes and the agenda will be:
10:30UK / 11:30CET Welcome and introductions
10:35UK / 11:35CET Overview of the LOGISTAR ‘digital tool’ – what will it do?
